On Sunday 6th July WRN is hosting a symbolic mass action in honour of Afghan women and girls.
 
The event will take place at 2 pm in Parliament Square Garden, London.
 
We are calling it:
 
Women - Be Seen
 
Join us! Wear your most iconic outfits - ballgowns, national dress, uniforms. We intend to create a spectacle, taking up space, publicising our right to exist and refusing to quietly blend into the background. Because these are the freedoms Afghan women and girls must have.
 
There will be special guests, a choir and we will provide a platform for the words and poetry of Afghan women and girls.
 
Bring your friends, your banners, and your voices.
 
We promised we will not forget them.
