THE RED FLAG CAMPAIGN The WRN Summer Sport Campaign 2025 focuses on the risks to millions of women and children from using public swimming pools and leisure facilities. A street action and social media campaign. The red flag is the symbol for the campaign as it signifies a serious SAFEGUARDING risk and a failure to PROTECT women and children from harm. We call on sports and leisure providers to make SAFEGUARDING the No.1 priority when building and refurbishing leisure facilities The safest changing room is a single-sex changing room. FIND OUT MORE AFGHANISTAN CAMPAIGN The palpable outrage at the latest edition in the series of inhumane Taliban edicts should not pass us by without us taking action. WRN groups will hold regular silent vigils in their towns and cities, to show support and solidarity for Afghan women and girls in their darkest days, show them that we will never forget , and highlight this most recent attack on Afghan women's voices. READ MORE STATE SANCTIONED SEXUAL ASSAULT NEW REPORT - RESPONSES FROM MPs, PCCs and CHIEF CONSTABLES In January we revealed that the NPCC had mandated an unlawful policy that allowed male officers to search women. That policy guidance was withdrawn on 11 January 2024. Or was it? Only 9 forces confirm that they are fully compliant with The Police And Criminal Evidence Act.
